Cassandra Allen lives in France and works as an independent illustrator specialising in children’s books. After years of study in Melbourne, including fine art, photography and multimedia, her independent illustration and graphic design business took form based in a collective studio in Prahran. Several years later Cassandra followed her heart and focused exclusively on illustration. After moving to Europe she began illustrating children’s books, the most popular one to date titled There Was An Old Sailor first published in 2010 and republished several times since.

Biographie

Cassandra Allen est une illustratrice pour livre d’enfant. Née en Australie, elle habite désormais en France et continue à travailler sur des projets internationaux.

Après plusieurs années d’études à l’école des Beaux-arts de Melbourne, elle ouvre son studio de graphisme et photo. Quelques années plus tard, elle suit sa vraie passion et consacre toute son énergie à l’illustration.

Après avoir posé ses valises en Europe en 2007, Cassandra commence l’illustration pour enfants. Le plus connu livre à ce jour est “Il était une fois un vieux marin”, qui a été publié en 2010 et réedité plusieurs fois depuis.
